Matthew 5:1 His disciples… 2 He taught them, saying:

SONS OF GOD

John 1:12 As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.

Matthew 5:44 Love your enemies … 45  so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Romans 8:14 As many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 17 … If children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

WHEN SOMEONE DOES YOU WRONG

Matthew 18:15 “If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. 16 But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every fact may be confirmed. 17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

WHEN SOMEONE HAS SOMETHING AGAINST YOU

Matthew 5:23 “If you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.”

James 1:19 Be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.

I’ve heard you feel I’ve done you wrong. Please help me to understand why you feel this way.

Matthew 7:5 First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

I was wrong. Will you forgive me?
