Revelation 1:1 The Revelation…3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it.
Revelation 17:12 Ten kings… Daniel 7:24 Ten kings…
Daniel 2:40 The fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron…and will…crush all the others. 41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes…the kingdom shall be divided…42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile.
7:23 A fourth kingdom…. 24 Ten kings shall arise from this kingdom.
9:26 The people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. 27 Then he [they] shall confirm a covenant with many for one week [seven years]; but in the middle of the week [seven years] he [they] shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
II Thessalonians 2:3 The man of sin… 4 exalts himself above all that is called God… so that he sits as God in the temple of God.
Revelation 17:12 Ten kings…13 will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them.
Luke 21:20 “When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.”
I Thessalonians 5:2 The day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
QUESTIONS FOR LIFE
1.Today we learned that 10 kings from within the boundaries of the Roman Empire will one day make a covenant with Israel promising to stand behind them as they build a temple. As you look at the map, which countries especially interest you as candidates to be part of the10? Please explain.
2.Five of these kings will be from the eastern half of the Roman Empire and five from the west.
3.How do you think the people of the world will feel when they learn about this covenant? Please explain.
4.How do you think the Jews will feel when they have this covenant and start building the temple? Please explain.
5. Please briefly review the significance of Luke 21:20,24 and the timeline.
